Sainte Foy is easy to access by road, air or train from the UK, Europe or further afield.
Our change over day is Sunday as the roads to Sainte Foy can be extremely busy on Saturdays, due to the traffic heading to other nearby resorts. If you prefer to travel on a Saturday we can recommend nearby overnight accomodation for your day of arrival.

Car
Sainte Foy is approximately 620 miles from Calais or Boulogne, mostly on fast uncrowded French motorways. Allow 8-10 hours with stops for the journey in normal weather and traffic conditions. Tolls are approximately €120 return.
It is recommended that you ensure your car is prepared for winter conditions before leaving. Good tyres, battery, snow chains, headlight converters and breakdown insurance are essential for your trip. The AA have some useful information on these regulations, as well as other tips regarding driving on the continent.
You can cross the channel by ferry from £40 return with Speedferries, P&O, SeaFrance, Hoverspeed, or take your car on Le Shuttle through the Channel Tunnel.
Car Hire
Car can be hired at your arrival airport, or if you arrive by train, Bourg St Maurice has rental offices for Avis and Europcar. Easy Rent a Car in Geneva airport offers Mercedes A Class cars, and Connect Car Rental often have good deals for rentals at airports and major locations.
If you are flying into Geneva airport we recommend that you hire your car on the Swiss side (where all international flights arrive), as most hire cars on the French side do not have a Swiss motorway permit, which makes the journey longer and more complicated.
